InfluxDB Cloud internals
InfluxDB Cloud data durability
InfluxDB Cloud ensures the durability of all stored data by replicating data across multiple availability zones in a cloud region, automatically creating backups, and verifying that replicated data is consistent and readable.
InfluxDB Cloud security
InfluxDB Cloud is built on industry-standard security practices and principles.
InfluxDB Cloud system buckets
InfluxDB system buckets contain time series data used by and generated from the InfluxDB monitoring and alerting system and the task engine.
Time To Become Readable
Time To Become Readable (TTBR) is the delay between when you write data to InfluxDB Cloud and when that data becomes queryable. TTBR is variable and is affected by many factors.
Data retention in InfluxDB Cloud
The InfluxDB Cloud retention service checks for and removes data with timestamps beyond the defined retention period of the bucket the data is stored in.
