math.floor() function

math.floor() returns the greatest integer value less than or equal to x.

Function type signature
(x: float) => float

x

(Required) Value to operate on.

Examples

Return the nearest integer less than a value

import "math"

math.floor(x: 1.22)// 1.0

Use math.floor in map

import "sampledata"
import "math"

sampledata.float()
    |> map(fn: (r) => ({r with _value: math.floor(x: r._value)}))
