math.ceil() function

math.ceil() returns the least integer value greater than or equal to x.

Function type signature

Parameters

x

(Required) Value to operate on.

Examples

Round a value up to the nearest integer

import "math"

math.ceil(x: 3.14)// 4.0

Use math.ceil in map

import "math"
import "sampledata"

sampledata.float()
    |> map(fn: (r) => ({r with _value: math.ceil(x: r._value)}))
