iox.sql() function

iox.sql() is experimental and subject to change at any time.

iox.sql() executes an SQL query against a bucket in an IOx storage node.

This function creates a source that reads data from IOx.

Function type signature
(bucket: string, query: string) => stream[A] where A: Record

Parameters

bucket

(Required) IOx bucket to read data from.

query

(Required) SQL query to execute.

Examples

Use SQL to query data from IOx

iox.sql(bucket: "example-bucket", query: "SELECT * FROM measurement")

For example, if using Docker to run InfluxDB v2, replace the latest version tag with a specific version tag in your Docker pull command–for example:
