math.mMin() function

math.mMin() is a function that returns the lesser of x or y.

Function type signature
(x: float, y: float) => float
  • Copy

Parameters

x

(Required) x-value to use in the operation.

y

(Required) y-value to use in the operation.

Examples

Return the lesser of two values

import "math"

math.mMin(x: 1.23, y: 4.56)// 1.23

Use math.mMin in map

import "math"

data
    |> map(fn: (r) => ({_time: r._time, _value: math.mMin(x: r.t1, y: r.t2)}))
