This page documents an earlier version of InfluxDB OSS. InfluxDB 3 Core is the latest stable version.

Download the latest InfluxDB open source (OSS) release at the InfluxData Downloads page.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the downloads page and click 2 to navigate to the second page of products.
  2. Under InfluxDB OSS 1.x, select:
    • your Platform (operating system) and
    • the Version of InfluxDB you want to download.
  3. Run the provided commands to download and install InfluxDB.

InfluxDB Docker latest tag changing to InfluxDB 3 Core

On May 27, 2026, the latest tag for InfluxDB Docker images will point to InfluxDB 3 Core. To avoid unexpected upgrades, use specific version tags in your Docker deployments.

If using Docker to install and run InfluxDB, the latest tag will point to InfluxDB 3 Core. To avoid unexpected upgrades, use specific version tags in your Docker deployments. For example, if using Docker to run InfluxDB v2, replace the latest version tag with a specific version tag in your Docker pull command–for example:

docker pull influxdb:2
