Switch InfluxDB Cloud organizations

If you belong to more than one InfluxDB Cloud Serverless organization with the same email address, you can switch from one organization to another while staying logged in.

To switch InfluxDB Cloud organizations:

  1. (Optional) To switch to an organization in a different account, switch accounts.
  2. In the InfluxDB Cloud UI, click the organization name in the header and select Switch Organizations.
  3. Select the organization you want to switch to from the drop-down list.

InfluxDB Docker latest tag changing to InfluxDB 3 Core

On May 27, 2026, the latest tag for InfluxDB Docker images will point to InfluxDB 3 Core. To avoid unexpected upgrades, use specific version tags in your Docker deployments.

If using Docker to install and run InfluxDB, the latest tag will point to InfluxDB 3 Core. To avoid unexpected upgrades, use specific version tags in your Docker deployments. For example, if using Docker to run InfluxDB v2, replace the latest version tag with a specific version tag in your Docker pull command–for example:

docker pull influxdb:2
