influxdb3 delete last_cache

The influxdb3 delete last_cache command deletes a last value cache.

Usage

influxdb3 delete last_cache [OPTIONS] --database <DATABASE_NAME> --table <TABLE> [CACHE_NAME]
  • Copy

Arguments

  • CACHE_NAME: (Optional) Name of the cache to delete.

Options

OptionDescription
-H--hostHost URL of the running InfluxDB 3 Core server (default is http://127.0.0.1:8181)
-d--database(Required) Name of the database to operate on
--token(Required) Authentication token
-t--table(Required) Table to delete the cache from
--tls-caPath to a custom TLS certificate authority (for testing or self-signed certificates)
-h--helpPrint help information
--help-allPrint detailed help information

Option environment variables

You can use the following environment variables to set command options:

Examples

Delete a last value cache

influxdb3 delete last_cache \
  --database 
DATABASE_NAME

CACHE_NAME

In the example above, replace the following:

  • DATABASE_NAME: Database name
  • AUTH_TOKEN: Authentication token
  • TABLE_NAME: Table name
  • CACHE_NAME: Name of the last value cache to delete
