math.y1() function

math.y1() returns the order-one Bessel function of the second kind.

Function type signature

(Required) Value to operate on.

Examples

Return the order-one Bessel function of a value

import "math"

math.y1(x: 3.14)// 0.35853138083924085

Use math.y1 in map

import "math"
import "sampledata"

sampledata.float()
    |> map(fn: (r) => ({r with _value: math.y1(x: r._value)}))

On May 27, 2026, the latest tag for InfluxDB Docker images will point to InfluxDB 3 Core. To avoid unexpected upgrades, use specific version tags in your Docker deployments.

If using Docker to install and run InfluxDB, the latest tag will point to InfluxDB 3 Core. To avoid unexpected upgrades, use specific version tags in your Docker deployments. For example, if using Docker to run InfluxDB v2, replace the latest version tag with a specific version tag in your Docker pull command–for example:

docker pull influxdb:2
