# experimental.skew() function

`experimental.skew()` returns the skew of non-null values in the `_value` column for each input table as a float.

```js
(<-tables: stream[{A with _value: float}]) => stream[{A with _value: float}]
```

## Parameters

### tables

Input data. Default is piped-forward data (`<-`).

## Examples

### Return the skew of input tables

```js
import "experimental"
import "sampledata"

sampledata.float()
    |> experimental.skew()
```
