# bitwise.urshift() function

`bitwise.urshift()` is experimental and [subject to change at any time](/flux/v0/stdlib/experimental/#experimental-packages-are-subject-to-change).

`bitwise.urshift()` shifts the bits in `a` right by `b` bits. Both `a` and `b` are unsigned integers.

#### Deprecated

Experimental `bitwise.urshift` is deprecated in favor of [`bitwise.urshift`](/flux/v0/stdlib/bitwise/urshift/).

(a: uint, b: uint) => uint
```

## Parameters

### a

(Required) Left hand operand.

### b

(Required) Number of bits to shift.
