strings.replaceAll() function

strings.replaceAll() replaces all non-overlapping instances of a substring with a specified replacement.

Function type signature
(t: string, u: string, v: string) => string

Parameters

v

(Required) String value to search.

t

(Required) Substring to replace.

u

(Required) Replacement for all instances of t.

Examples

Replace string matches

import "sampledata"
import "strings"

sampledata.string()
    |> map(fn: (r) => ({r with _value: strings.replaceAll(v: r._value, t: "p", u: "XX")}))
